Some more about me
Heya I'm Léa Pham but you can call me Mai Lan or Mai for short. I was born in 2001 in France and my ethnicity is Vietnamese !
I’m used to take on responsibilities as I enjoy leading team projects, with the goal of becoming a reliable and supportive presence for those around me. Naturally curious and patient, I have a love for learning and constantly strive to expand my skills.
I'm very fond of cinema and sciences ! I've participated to multiple Game Jams (Ludum Dare, Global Game Jam, ...) as well as attended to animation conventions. While still very passionate about physics and more specifically satellites and space/flight engineering, I've been growing well and learning a lot about myself during those artsy years. My love for robots and engineering always encourages me to learn about new technologies and dive in Technical Arts.
My main aspirations are focused on:
- Technical Art: lighting, VFX, Level Art
- 3D Game Art: 3D envionment, kitbash, hard surface, modular
I'm also capable to provide skills in those fields:
- 2D Game Art: concept art characters/environments/props
- Game Design: concepts, gamification and technologies (PC, mobile, VR, ...)
I'd love to work for any game studios or cinema/animation studios !
I'm very open to any missions that involves technologies and innovations (Virtual Reality, sciences, robotics, ...).

Student internship at Neptunium
After my first university year, I was accepted for an internship at Neptunium as concept artist ! Neptunium is a Game Designer group aiming to release their first video game under the name of Archelux for an undetermined date. They welcomed me as concept artist for: environment concept art, 3D props concept arts and monster concept arts. Here's some environment work I've done this summer.
Scientific Game Jam in Toulouse
I had the honour to participate to the "Scientific Game Jam" in Toulouse during my first university year alongside two students of my school. The event was held by Le Quai des Savoir and the CNES !
The objective of this Game Jam was to convey a scientific's thesis from CNES via a fun and educational video game. We teamed up with two other individuals to form a group of 5 alongside a scientific from the CNES as well as a sound designer. We all worked together under the name of team Atlas, bearer of our world.
I took the role of Game Artist, taking care of the 2D and 3D aspects of the game alongside an experienced Motion Designer in our group.
Altogether, we created our game named Wooble.

Entered E-Artsup Toulouse
After visiting many digital and technical art schools, I've choose and been accepted at E-Artsup (Toulouse) throughout an interview with Alexis Deschamps.
Studied Fundamental Physics at Paul-Sabatier (Toulouse)
Before entering the game industry, I was a student studying Fundamental Physics after graduating from high school. Covid happened as long as many other events which encouraged me to leave my previous science university unfortunately before entering my 3rd year. After a long discussion with my family regarding arts and passions, I've gathered the courage to dive in the Game Art and Digital Art Industry right after.
I've graduated from my first and second year with a year-gap due to Covid and left before my third. I've been working with many researchers and professionals, and very implicated in laboratories !
